Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love...Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me... Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness...Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me...

Crimson, Pine and Candlelight
This past weekend flew by very quickly (we were on the road again) but we did have 2 beautiful Christmas evenings out (Saturday and Sunday). Friday evening the roads were icy, so we decided to wait until Saturday to leave for PA and therefore got to hang out at the seminary game night. It was fun watching the Asians play ping pong. Then Saturday we drove to DuBois for Mike's cousin's wedding. We didn't quite make it to the wedding but we did enjoy the reception. Christmas weddings are so beautiful...
After Mike's magic show on Sunday afternoon on the way back to Ohio we stopped at Grove City College. The compromise was that we would watch the 1st half of the Steeler game in Ketler Rec and then go over to the Chapel for the Candlelight Christmas service. Unfortunately for Mike, the ending of the game was the best part.
However, I did enjoy being back on the campus for a little while and sitting in on the Candlelight Christmas service, especially since it will likely be a long time until we will have that opportunity again.
...Thank you, Mike, for giving up your Steeler game to allow me to enjoy that!

You look beautiful!- sorry Mike, You look very nice.
I wanted to 'save' that picture but I can't click on it like all the others.:(
Glad you had a good time. Seems like a long time ago we went to the service. It was always so beautiful with the luminaires! cool.....
MOM
Glad you enjoyed yourself! GCC campus has always been very pretty! Why didn't you stop by for a few minutes? You were 15 minutes away!!!
Nice picture too!!! Very pretty! The chapel looks really nice too! It always was beautiful at Christmas!
that sounds really nice - you guys look really great in that photo! And yes, we watched the end of the game... that WAS a big sacrifice, Mike - you're a good hubby :) - I was trying to enlarge your photo to see your necklace better but couldn't. Did you make it? just wondering. :)
So you went to Dubois for a wedding, but did not make it in time? The only other time I know of this happening was the Rubino's at your wedding.
I can't figure out why some pictures don't enlarge when you click on them. No, Julie, I didn't make the necklace, but it is handmade by someone (I bought it at a craft show).
Mike, what a sacrifice, that was the Baltimore/Steeler game you gave up on. The last 3:36 was the best part of the game. Of course, I am sure you got to see it anyways w/ all the highlights being shown. I also like the picture of the two of you.
